Lovely carvery - fresh , hot food with generous servings. A good selection of desserts and polite, friendly service. Packed today which is always a good sign. Outdoor area looks charming - just need some sunshine!

A part time pub. Only seems to open over a weekend. Although a Thursday when we visited they appeared to have served a carvery that day. We tried to book for the Friday night but they were not open because of lack of orders. The Guinness was also very poor.

Great carvery, very generous portions. Small country pub with a homely feel. Very friendly staff, and very good service. I would certainly recommend this place.

Found the setting very quaint,  the management and all staff more than helpful and friendly. Food was hot and delicious and plenty of choice. Perfectly presented and served. A very good meal in a very good Pub at a very fair price. As we are on holiday in this country we found it perfectly fitted our budget and taste. It is what we were looking for to say typically British. Can only recommend it to others and definitely return.
