We came here to have a meal after a Guide Dog fundraising event at Kingsbury Water Park. The food was lovely and very well prepared and presented. The grandchildren loved the salad bar.nOur guide dog puppy in training was also made very welcome and a bowl of water was brought out straight away for him. Excellent
Food was ok. Cutlery was dirty and crusty. Place felt a bit grimy tbh but Service was good
We visited on Saturday evening and was shown straight to a table.nWe ordered the drinks and were told the server would come back and take the order for the food after we had decided what we wanted.nAfter a while our order for our food was taken and we went up to get our salad.nThere were no bread rolls and I asked someone and after waiting a while, some were brought out. The rolls were freezing cold and looked partially cooked. I asked if they could be warmed and they were taken out the back to be warmed. After more waiting I received warm soft buns that still looked partially uncooked and were doughy.nI went back my table and then had to go and ask when we would be getting our drinks. I was told someone would bring them soon.nAfter waiting again and just before our food was brought out, our glasses came. As we were having refills, we went to get our drinks. One of the drinks was like water so we mentioned this to the server who said it looked like the syrup had run out, took the glass and did not return for ages.nWhen the server returned I asked if they still did the crayons for the children as my small grandchild was getting restless, he said he would bring some over.nWhen our food came my older grandchild did not have vegetable sticks like we wanted and had fries on their plate. The server said he would get a serving of vegetable sticks separately and we would not be charged for the fries.nMy daughter's burger bun was burnt. The mushroom on my plate was smaller than the tomato and my steak was like charcoal.nI have added pictures as you can see some of our meals. I was also asked what sauce I would like and found out from the receipt it was an extra £2 for a small pot of gravy. I thought it was included with the meal.nI do not think our meals were value for money, as my meal was close to £19, £21 with the gravy and the burnt burger was £16.nThere was a lot of waiting around but I would say the server looked rushed off his feet which is probably why we had to ask for the crayons, glass and drinks.nOverall it was not a pleasant experience, considering it cost over £130.nThe food was a disappointment and the bread rolls looked and tasted half cooked.nOn a plus side the deserts were delicious and worth the money, but I will not be rushing to return.
We had lunch here today and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Unexpectedly, the food was amazing, and the portions were very generous. As a Manager myself, I noticed the staff's great professionalism, especially Lola, who was not only cheerful but also truly delightful. I couldn't help but be charmed by her! Despite the fantastic experience, I couldn't help but notice that during the quieter moments, there wasn't much emphasis on general cleanliness. However, the level of cleanliness is still much higher than many other places where I've eaten!nnI will definitely be back.
They were very busy tonight from nhs offer and kids offer. However, the staff were lovely and very attentive despite being busy. Food still came out in good time and our server Laura was very smiley and provided excellent service. There were 4 of us and we all had a lovely time. Thank you.
