Wetherspoon is a great chain of pubs we had a nice time at the Brighton Marina location. It's situated in front of the marina and has outdoor seating, which is awesome on a sunny day. The food is pretty good too. I would recommend it if you're in that part of town.
We have family from Norway and we took them on this ultimate English experience. The place is a very nice locations, but thats all. Service? There is no service. Clean? No it's gross. Food? Really simple, dry and tasteless. After all we alive and they deserved 2 stars at least. Thank you
We went for late lunch and ordered online at 14:10 on Saturday. The food arrived eventually, after several chasers with the staff, more than an hour!!! I don't remember having been served after more than an hour?! We just ordered a vegan wrap, vegan chilli and chicken wings. Terrible customer service! The manager was apologetic and kindly offered free drinks or desserts. But was to hungry and disappointed to accept the offer. It is just unacceptable. Avoid as much as you can!
Great location overlooking the Marina, great outdoor seating area to watch the world go by, especially in the glorious sun. We only stopped here for a drink, and thoroughly enjoyed a bottle of wine. The prices here were slightly higher than the Wetherspoons we are used to; however still a lot cheaper than other bars within Brighton. We would certainly pop in here again.
Nice pub/restaurant in in Brighton Marina. Prices start n the menu is not too bad. When ordering a meal you get a softdrink or alcoholic beverage with the price. But prices varies on your selection.
Hi! I gave 4 starts because of the service mostly. If you want a drink or food, you need to go to the bartender desk. That’s not a restaurant style. We ordered a steak and a fish and chips, a traditional British dish. Steak was awful, but fish and chips are good, really good. And of course the draft beer is amazing.
Yeeesss!!! Love Wetherspoon, the food, the service, everywhere in the UK. I love going in different parts of the country to see the food difference. This one had pizza and loaded fries Plus an amazing view. We had great service and the place looked amazing.
Excellent Fish & Chips - crispy on the outside whilst soft and flaky inside. The kids' menu spaghetti bolognese was also excellent with a rich, tasty sauce containing a generous amount of beef. The outdoor seating in picturesque surroundings and well-priced beers were the icing on the proverbial cake. 5 stars for all these The sirloin steak, however, was tough and dry and I'm docking 1 star on this account.
The location of the restaurant is really nice and the interior is spacious and welcoming. But the place is really dirty, the tables and the floor are sticky and the staff don't care. Service is slow and you have to order yourself. The food is acceptable if you stick to burgers and other low risk options, but most other choices will disappoint.
So far it has been my favorite pub from this chain. The Monday breakfast disappointed me. I ordered two large breakfasts. I got breakfast without eggs where egg is the staple for me. I understand that a product is not available, but at the time of ordering, I should be notified that there are no fried eggs for breakfast today so that I can have an option to choose from. Instead of fried eggs I got 10 awful frozen hash browns fried in dirty deep fat, gross. Where's a nutritionally balanced breakfast? since I got a ton of carbohydrates and a lot of fat, very little protein. Additionally, I ordered mushrooms for 80 pence and received 2 chip-dried mushrooms the size of 50 pence.
