Such a great welcome from the head waiter, superb service. Food was fantastic, we really enjoyed our Sunday lunch!
11 people for 21st Birthday Celebration, the staff had set the table up with balloons and a birthday card for the celebrant. Service was attentive and everyone got what they wanted with no issues staff friendly throughout and brought the birthday cake with candles ready lit and helped to sing Happy Birthday. Everyone seemed very happy with their food portions were of a good size and all appeared well prepared and cooked with great presentation.
Had a lovely lunch in the afternoon - the chicken & halloumi fajitas were delicious, and the cocktails especially the Zombie! was really good as well. Although the food is on the pricier side I had a main dish, a cocktail and a coffee and it came to around £30, it’s worth it as no matter what you get there’s a good variety of different dishes to choose from, it’s all delicious.nnService was excellent - attentive but not too overbearing.nnThe atmosphere was perfect and that’s what I love most about this place - even though it’s usually busy, you can always find a quiet little corner to relax in the restaurant is quite big!.nnOverall, I highly recommend the Wayfarer to anyone looking for a modern and casual but bit on the fancier side restaurant/pub to have lunch/dinner in no matter who you’re with - it’s perfect to come in either by yourself, with a group of friends or family, or a date.nnThe place, food and staff are all lovely :
No booking made, accommodated for a table of 2 in a nice table in the restaurant area. Prompt service and hot food, portion sizes are just about right to fit a dessert in as well. Harry was excellent serving us
Over £55 for burger & a few chips x2 & a portion of garlic bread accompanied by two cokes!!nService was poor, pre-booked a table requesting outside, arrived told to go inside to book, then outside again because even if reservations are made, outside seating is first come first served?nDrinks dropped & extremely small portions plus a service charge of 7.5% added to your bill before payment.nCaitlin service manager was made aware but spun the usual card, training will be provided & concerns passed on.nWhat we had was nice, but not worth the money.
