We were looking for a light lunch and drink so we popped here and were not disappointed. The staff are lovely and friendly The food was hot and tasty, delivered quickly and a very good portion considering how cheap it was.nWe had a panini and a jacket potato.nThe tables are cleared and cleaned quickly and efficiently which is great for a spoons.nWell done to the team who work here.nKeep up the great work
Quite a long rectangle room with a small partition wall half way down. Very busy place with the usual tap beers and a few real ales available. Toilets upstairs as usual. Not wheelchair friendly as a lot of steps at entrance. Staff were friendly. Beer was good. Good visit.
Definitely the best food and drink that I've had in a Wetherspoons. I had a burger and chips which were lovely, and all the cocktails were really well made. The gent carrying out our table service was super friendly and polite. Really glad we came!
Classic Spoons. Lovely old building. Cheap food and drinks. Little activity sheet and crayons for kids to keep them occupied whilst waiting for food. Top notch.
Overall it was good.nMy meal, Mixed Grill, was good and all the meats were cooked correctly and we're tasty.nMy wife had a Sirloin Steak and it wasn't the best. It was a little chewy and ever so slightly overcooked. Asked for medium rare but was more medium well.nVeggies, chips, salad, coleslaw that accompanied the meals were all good though and tasty.nnAt the end of the day it's Spoonies so it's not gonna be high end, and an enjoyable evening meal was had by our group.nSo happy enough to go again if in the area.
