Love Crown Wharf. Great place for a nice coffee after a walk along the tow path with our doggy. Today we decided to have Sunday lunch. It was gorgeous. Really generous portions. This is the small portion I'd already eaten some of it. Going to bring our visitors here for food when they come up.
This was a delicious steak and ale pie after a heavy day on the canal and very welcome. It was supplemented by a couple of pints of Slumbering Monk. That's a really good pint.nnI would recommend the Crown Warf. In fact. This was the second night that we went there.
Popped in as part of a brewery tour, nice place to be.nnIt appears old and cosy, nice staff, a replicated Coopers Tavern from Burton.nnThe Green Monkey is a nice drop.nnEnjoy
Great pub in fantastic location. Building is impressive, with loads of space, history and lovely outdoor area. The Joules beers were in super condition and the food was very enjoyable too.nWe were very impressed
Fantastic huge space with high ceilings and comfy big booths and high top tables. Super dog-friendly love the doggies hydration bar inside with treats! Great offerings on the menu and delicious meals with big portions - the vegan/gluten free mushroom bourguignon pie with buttered greens and red wine gravy is not to be missed
