Called in for a spot of lunch on Friday midday, Place looked trendy and clean on the waterside. Our waiter was a young chap called James, who done a fantastic job. Food wise we opted for the lunch time menu. I went for Battered mushrooms steak sandwich & chocolate brownie. Main course and desert very tasty and hit the spot , however the bread mushrooms could have done with better presentation. Overall we found this good valve . 3 course lunch ,refillable drink and side on onion rings came to under £15.
We always come here when I'm in Swansea. Last time was for my graduation and everything was great as usual. The steaks are always good and cooked to preference. I had surf and turf, would like the prawns peeled but apart from that I enjoyed it.
Lovely venue, great food, we had the lunchtime 3 courses for set price and upgrade the steak. The starters were outstanding. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Definitely recommended.
Had breakfast and dinner here and its always great. Food is delicious more than enough on the plate. Breakfast is cheap and really good. Even fresh juice and fruit! Kids love it so do we. Staff friendly and always busy so might have to wave someone down but that's not their fault they are that full all the time they are just busy. Great place to take kids. Vegetarian options: Same as above. Kid-friendliness: Definitely for kids. Great food filling too and they even put beans on the side for my picky kids Parking: Parking right beside but have to pay and display Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator into restaurant must go through primer Inn Hotel to access Dietary restrictions: Mother in law is vegetarian they very helpful and substitute food for her.
Friendly waiting staff, seating area was good and easy parking nearby. Our chicken was undercooked and had to be sent back, the one that replaced it was still not thoroughly cooked through and had to be left. Lots of items missing from the menu due to supplier issues. Too expensive for the quality of food provided.
Really friendly staff, good experience and food. Sat next to the window looking out to the harbour, no boats but enjoyed watching the evening turn to night and life going by. Booking this table next time.
This Beefeater is one of the best we've been to. All staff are very friendly and give fantastic service. Nothing is too much trouble. Food was very good too. The festive menu is varied. Something for everyone. I recommend the Turkey with all the trimmings. Breakfast is superb too. Thanks for a great experience.
This is a nice place to sit and eat a hearty meal with friends. It's towards the expensive end of the pub chain restaurants, coming in at just shy of £20 for a three course meal on a special menu, excluding drinks. The food was really good, served quickly and the chips are triple cooked, a distinctive menu item. The decor is relaxing and it's not too cramped. The only let down is the lack of free parking. Everything was clean and well maintained.
Very disappointed with the service we had attended for a family members 30th. The fries were pale and needed to be cooked more, the chicken and rib combo was missing the chicken chicken was given when asked, the sausages on the mixed grills were overcooked and the kids only had 1 corn on cob on the side when menu states 2 - when mentioning this as the 4 year old picked up on the error we got told the chefs only cook one as that's how it goes through on the till more were requested and then given. However our experience just kept getting worse. We went to the till to separate the bill and the lady was trying to charge me for an upgraded 2 course meal and when I questioned it her response was the till doesn't know that I didn't have an upgrade. As she couldn't work out how to do it she walked off and took payment from a different table while we were still stood at the till waiting to pay, she then continued to lay tables while we still stood waiting. A different lady eventually came over to sort our payment, however it turns out they had added an extra meal to our bill which we did not have, but she was adamant she brought it to our table. We did receive the steak in question which was part of one of the 2 course meals that was also down on the receipt. She eventually owned up and said it had been put through incorrectly so she would remove it. The other thing to watch is the kids menu is 3 course for £5.99 not according to our bill, they tried charging more and when questioned she said it says it in small print at the bottom of the menu about the dessert costs extra the other lady told us it was included in the price. On discussing with my family following the payments it turns out we actually ended up paying for a meal twice in the end so the additional meal that she was going to remove was never removed after all. This place used to be our go to place but it has since gone down hill.
Went here this afternoon with my partner. Warm welcoming staff from the moment we entered. The best cheesy garlic bread ever and enormous. Main meals were lovely i had smothered chicken with chips my partner had mixed grill all really lovely couldn't fault a thing. The place was spotless and the staff very attentive throughout.. a very pleasant experience we shall be returning soon..
