Story

The Waiting Room Vegetarian Restaurant serves great food with rustic simplicity, and with loving generosity. We have created hundreds of recipes over 25 years, whilst changing our menu with each season.

The Waiting Room puts on The Matchbox Cabaret every Sunday, hosting brilliant original artists and performers.

It's just straight up tasty! As a big fan of the meat I'm always blown away by how tasty they can make a meat free dish. Portions are huge, and leave you feeling very full (But you can always get a doggy bag). Decor is simple yet funky.

Fast and friendly service, good lunch menu range from sandwiches to full main meals at very reasonable prices. I have always enjoyed my visits to the Waiting Room.

Excellent service and beautiful, tasty food. One vegan and two meat eaters and we all really enjoyed our food. The service was excellent, my Mum in Law was so stuffed she couldn't manage a dessert but it was no problem at all for us to take one away.

Been eating here for over 15 years. Never ever disappointed. Vegetarian for all palates. Superb fresh bread and deserts. Would highly recommend.
