Ok from the start. 
First I called to see if they offer gluten free option, the person on the phone was nice and checked with the kitchen and told me apart from bread and calamari I can have everything else. As I scrolled through their menu I’ve noticed that probably some other obvious things that contain flour  probably contain gluten so obviously stayed cleared from them. Got the chicken and chips and spicy sausage, others ordered different type of meat and we all thought that the meat was disgusting, we spat it in a napkin after one bite. The chips and according to others pitta bread was lovely. Bottom line had a stomach ache all evening last night went to bed and woke up with a stomach ache and had it almost all day now. Would not recommend and most certainly will not be ordering from them again. 
Little note to the owner: I would LOVE to eat gluten but my body does not tolarete it, my stomach hurts so much after I have it and other people suffer even more than a stomach ache so please educate your staff on this because it’s not nothing!

We have been going to this place since it opened. Still under the same management. A lovely friendly place with a laid back atmosphere. Excellent staff and food. Would thoroughly recommend this hidden gem.

I have been to the village greek on enough occasions to have sampled everything on the menu at least once 😉 every time leaving there completely full and very satisfied with the food portions and taste. In my opinion they do the BEST traditional pork kebabs cooked on Real charcoal. The service is always faultless and nothing is a problem for them. Great owner and staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you.

Charming staff and clean taverna restaurant. Albeit chairs a tad hard without cushions. My chicken didn't taste charcoal cooked and rather tasteless but was Sunday 6ish and perhaps wasn't the best time. But impressed by clean loos so presume kitchen equally well kept.
