My husband & I came here for an evening meal on a quiet Monday evening and I couldn’t recommend it enough! The customer service was absolutely amazing from start to finish, supper attentive and accommodating. The food was out of this world, best curry I’ve had in a very long time. Amazing value for money in a perfect location. We will definitely be back soon.
Fantastic food, friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere. There was so much to pick from the menu, that we ended up going for the three course meal so we could sample as much as possible. It was more than enough food that we ended up getting a box to take the rest home. Hopefully we can come back soon!

Amazing curry at @viceroy_jq tonight. Loved the Lamb Sheek Gilaf, the addition of the touch of pomegranate was brilliant, really cut through the richness of the lamb. The Jaypuri Lamb was everything a curry should be, packed full of spice without sacrificing flavour. Oh and the garlic naan was bangin' Cant recommend highly enough, if you're in Birmingham make sure you look this place up!
Another wonderful meal. We used to live just around the corner from The Viceroy and it became our regular date night venue for my wife and I. However, when lockdown first happened we moved back to our main home in York and don’t get back to Birmingham nearly as often as we’d like - in fact, today was our first visit in almost 2 years. We booked in advance and were given a lovely, warm greeting; always warm and welcoming but never overly familiar. This is a difficult balancing act but The Viceroy’s front of house team pull this off beautifully. We ordered onion bhaji and Bombay Aloo Chat to start and “Old School” and King Prawn cooked in the Tandoor oven - a dry dish - to follow with a plain naan and coconut rice. All fab as usual. Highly recommended!
The service here is great and the food was ok. We got take away. The food here seems to be engineered for the Brits. So if you are a Brit looking to get into Indian food then this a great place.Food: 3/5
Such an amazing meal! The menu here is extensive and full of delicious options. I am vegetarian and there were plenty of options to choose from. The restaurant itself is cozy, modern and so comfortable. The staff here are kind and so attentive. 10/10, we will definitely be returning again!Food: 5/5
Absolutely amazing, the service was fantastic. The food was gorgeous, the best meal I've had out in a long time. The waitress and waiters were fantastic and really catered to our needs. When we arrived, it had not long opened, so it was pretty quiet, but it soon filled up, and the atmosphere was great. We were originally a table of 3 but a quick call to upgrade to 5 was no problem at all and due to road works, we were also later than our booking time, this was no problem at all. Will be back for more it was so tasty, and we will bring our friends too
