We really enjoyed our curry dinner at The Purple Rooms in Sutton Coldfield Friday night. We received a warm greeting at the door, friendly service, nice starters especially the samosas, and a really tasty vegetable Balti. Would definitely go back.
I took my mom there for afternoon tea for her birthday. Portions are big, and took some home with us. I enjoyed it, but unfortunately my mother didn't. We were the only ones in there, which was disappointing as I had booked sometime ago. I would go back.
Excellent service, well structured, easy to navigate menu. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. Starters, mains and desserts were all great, as was the chat with the staff - prompt and interesting without being invasive. Definitely will be returning!
Friendly staff, good prices and most of all tasty food. Good selection on their menu d there is something for the kids who don't like curry. They also do takeaway which can be ordered direct with them with a 10% discount on most of the menu or through just eat.

My first visit here & I will definitely be back. I thought it was clean, friendly staff & really lovely balti with fresh nann to make it my perfect dish. It was a good price & I highly recommend it.
Nice staff but seemed a bit make shift, running out to buy food etc. My wife ordered curry, when it arrived it did seem to have been cooked through properly and hot, she sent it back, it returned hot. About 4 hours latter she began to feel ill. She was sick over night and then violent cramps an diorrea for two days. Clearly it was food poisoning. Great pity !! Would be very warey about eating there again !!!! Update my wife has been admitted to hospital today Monday 9th December with severe food poisoning !!!!!!! Michael Green. Coleshill Road . Lovely food, lovely staff,couldn't do enough for us,even put the footie on for us so we didn't miss the penilites!were happy for us to take a birthday cake,and even sang to the birthday girl!even giving her a birthday dinner plate for her meal!!popadums best ever tasted!,a great night out.
