Big improvement since the new owners took over, better quality food for sure. Small cod fish and chips with curry sauce and was given free portion of donner with it. fresh fish made in front of you, proper nice and crispy batter. Chips were nice, edible unlike it was before. Curry sauce can’t go wrong with it. Polite and helpful staff, pricing is decent too. Will be back to try other stuff, definitely try it out with the new owners.

BEWARE!!! DISGUSTING FOOD. Rude and disrespectful service, food old and stale, avoid at all cost. Overpriced for the quality of food. Was better with the old management, now these wannabe chefs, can’t cook a meal to save their life. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Rather give the money to the homeless who loiter outside, at least you will benefit than getting food poisoning.
after seeing so many reviews online of this place thought give it a go, we ordered cod and chip and doner meat to my disgust the fish came out over cooked on the verg of burnt batter undercooked cod inside, chips was ok and doner meat nothing special, complained to owner about burnt cod but just went on deaf ears he was more interested in flipping chicken burger and taking the money, would give this place a miss if you can just go to mother hubbards across the road for some quality food and service for a few quid more.
Customer for over 20 years. Was my go to for some dirty donor or cheese burger meal after a late night. Not the same anymore unfortunately with new owners. Wish the new people success but it just isn’t what made this place good.
Recent new owners have improved the place, bbq doner, multiple sauces, they accept card payments. I usually go for the grilled chicken filet burger meal which is mouth watering. Would highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Took 40 mins to wait for a large portion of chips on a Friday evening!! Other than the wait itself, my son thoroughly enjoyed his chipsFood: 5/5
Since the new the owners taken ova the quality off the food & place has improved 100% absolutely worth a try especially the chicken filet burger meal with bbq Donna on the chips Kid-friendliness: They even have special offer on for kids 12pm-6pm free chips And free Donna on every burger meal On promotion days
Although the website says closed. I have been ordering food for the last 2 months and the shop seems open. The food is as always to a great standard and the feeling of staff taking pride in what they do. Hence i keep coming back. Vegetarian options: Not sure.. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. This is visible on the presence of kids from the local school at lunchtime and kids in the evening with parents Dietary restrictions: Standard chip shop food with burgers and kebabs.
Awesome place food was fresh price was great and plenty of variety, wouldn't get disappointed
