Amazing venue for live bands. Sloped flooring means wherever you are in the standing arena you will get a good view of the stage. Great acoustics, and brilliant spectacle looking up in to the historic upper circles. Handy cloakroom downstairs to leave any bulky jackets, just make sure to beat the rush post-gig or you'll be queueing all night to get it back :
Seen Suede perform here Feb 2026 and seating on upper circle gives fantastic view. They have plenty bars on each level and entry was well organised. Staff helpful
Usher Hall is an Edinburgh institution and a cracker of a venue. It's a beautiful building, in the city centre. Great acoustics. I thought the staff were excellent too.
Beautiful venue for a show... comfy seats, great acoustics and easy access to seating.nWe saw a Comedian Ross last week. Great time and easy exit as well
Great place, lovely stuff... butnI was on the Louis C. K. stand up comedy show and the acoustic was terrible. The one who is responsible for the sound didn't do his job properly or maybe Usher Hall has horrible sound equipment.
