Great space for gigs and shows. Bar is nice, with their own microbrew and decor themed on the theme of the building old vet school. Would be nice if there was some variety in the menu, especially for plant-based burgers.
Lots of different sizes of rooms used for exhibitions, makes you wonder around the building in search for more art.nThe cafe is nice and serves the usual, hot cold drinks some savoury food and cakes-nice portions.
Whisky tasting was fascinating, had the opportunity to taste a couple of drams and a cocktail. Lovely atmosphere and great tour guide. After the tasting we had a few drinks and some food in the bar. Great selection of beers on offer and the food was absolutely delicious. Well worth a trip
Best venue in all of Edinburgh! Brilliantly curated fringe shows and great vibe!
Went during the festival when it's always a fab venue. Range of rooms available for shows. Staff well informed and friendly - it's a bit of a warren and not always easy to find your way! Only four stars as the loos were a bit rough round the edges but to be fair, there will have been literally hundreds of people through them. It's a busy time, everyone is trying their best, so be kind folks!
