Really pretty venue as a converted chapel. Inside you've the choice of going upstairs where you'll get an uninterrupted view of the performance, or downstairs with a small standing area a little too small for a gig where lots of people probably want to dance and more seats in the old pews.nSpotless toilets, and a reasonably quick bar with expected prices. We were around £13 for a 2 pints, one cider, one lager.nBiggest issue was seeing the band as the stage is way too low so if you're under 5ft5 be prepared to not see much unless you go upstairs.
This is a great venue for various types of concert for those wanting a more traditional setting. The set up at the event I attended was tables and chairs in the centre area and downstairs seating in wooden 'pews'. It was warm, easy to see and hear, and the welcome and bar area was all good. My only difficulty was with the booking over the telephone. After some weeks we realised we didn't have our ticket and on ringing back the person we spoke to had difficulty understanding the issue and worryingly couldn't find our booking even though they had clearly been paid. Eventually it was sorted with a different seat. I enjoyed my evening there and would come back again.
First time visiting here for Serena Terry's comedian show!nWe had a great time, staff were friendly and helpful, bar was well stocked & the toilets were very clean. I would definitely go back.
It Was A great show With Mamas & Papas, Marmalade, Spencer James Searchers Gerry's Pacemakers, Steve Ellis, not forgetting The Tremolos' a Fantastic end to the night!
Recent Tom Bailey concert and he was absolutely fantastic. We were in front row B - seats 6 + 7 and only about 6ft from stage which was incredible. Only downside as venue flat floor/not tiered in rows we could only dance when 'given permission' by Tom during encore - as prev folk who had got up to dance from the beginning were told to sit down by ushers. So if you want to dance at venue - book seats right at the back or up in the circle/gallery seats!
