I’ve been to a couple of concerts at The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh and really enjoyed the experience. It’s a lovely venue with a good atmosphere, and the bar has a nice selection at reasonable prices. The location is spot on, with a car park nearby which makes getting there easy. The seats aren’t the most comfortable, but to be fair, that’s pretty standard for these kinds of places! Overall, a great spot for live music and shows and well worth a visit.
Well organised event. We had great seats. Not sure I'd have given 5 stars if I'd been sat at the side on the ground floor looking at the audience. Staff all friendly and helpful. Good range of reasonably priced soft drinks at the bar. Would have love a hot drink but understand why they weren't available as it was very busy. Toilet system great apart from the green lights on the broken/out of order loos. Clean and nice loos.
I love the Queens Hall as a small, intimate venue. Saw Horse,Kid Creole,John Grant,Toyah all in the past year here. Seating area upstairs, and a standing area downstairs. Nice staff, helpful.
I attended on 27Nov25 to see Bootleg Eagles with my disabled son and another disabled person. The staff were extremely helpful escorting us to a designated area they had set aside for the wheelchairs near the stage. The lady managing the stage area ensured the view from the wheelchairs was kept clear from enthusiastict revellers making the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Thankyou to the Queens Hall staff.
It's been almost 20 years since my last visit to the Queen's Hall for a Wrestling event. This time to see Chris MacCausland , Comedian with family. The concessions area is quite large with bathrooms nearby and modern, wide stairs leading to the gallery. We didn't see any snacks available at the time, only drinks. Inside, the main hall is very well maintained and decorated in cream and a sort of Teal/greeny blue that I remember from before. It is also immaculately clean and well presented. The unique layout of the ring seating in all Pews with cushions gives a historic feel and a cosy atmosphere when full. The stalls/main floor has rows of good sized upholstered and numbered individual chairs. These are removed for different show needs I e. Wrestling rings or a dancefloor for theatrics or music shows. Lovely staff and great bus links to most of the city. Thee isn't much parking nearby unless you don't mind a walk of a few hundred metres after 6p.m. if you are fortunate enough to find on street parking near the Pleasance park.
