Great food, great welcoming service, only fault is that more room should be given around the pool table if possible. Vegetarian options: They provide vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Kids can go dine and eat, there's a pool table were kids can also play on depending on age, £5 per cue stick deposit and returned Parking: Quite a big parking area
We went for lunch today, both enjoyed our meals. Chips and veg are lovely and hot. Meat, although good could do with being hotter, otherwise can't fault it. Nice relaxed atmosphere
Came for Christmas dinner and it was lovely. Only downfalls would be no sauces available. Mint sauce cranberry sauce and apple sauce would be nice as an option. Christmas pudding was freezing and so was the sauce. Would be nice to have the option to have this warm. One of our Tomato soup starters came and one was full with sour cream and one half full without sour cream. Bit disappointing but the Staff were friendly and the Turkey was lovely.
I had my son birthday meal here on Monday, the service was great and the food is always nice. Great value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you
Popped in for a Sunday lunch. The manager was grumpy with the customers. A smile goes a long way. Waited 30 minutes for the food and the food quality wasn't great. Not very busy so maybe that's normal here. Would avoid in future.Food: 3/5
went to the towers for a family birthday get together. all I can say it was shocking. while I was waiting for my food. over an hour. I decided to read the reviews. everyone thanking the customer for there reviews and saying they would take them on board and improve by they comments. obviously they didn't do what they preached. food was cold food was rubbish had to clear the table ourselves to allow for pudding. even booking the table 2 weeks in advance we arrived with no area ready and people were asked to move for us. which made to feel awkward. I will never be eating there again and will tell other not to either. the chain have another pub not to far away called the yenton. this place I can not fault. maybe the should send there staff especially the chef to go and learn a few things. if your going to eat at the sizzler chain avoid the towers and go the yenton.
Visit there every few weeks with my mum...decent food at affordable prices...pleasant..courteous staff..nice Sunday afternoon vibe..would recommend
The new menu had a good choice of dishes including things you wouldn't expect like a doner kebab. Pub was really busy and we struggled to find a table, which in a way was nice as lots of pubs never reopened after lockdown. Food was lovely, although the other half would have preferred his steak to be served on a normal plate as he said it was overcooked by the time he got back from the bar with a pint due to the heat of the skillet! The fox enjoyed the bit we took home
We love this place. Friends and family are always welcome, food is amazing and entertainment is unreal. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
