Story

We serve food during the following hours:

Wed - Sat: 12pm - 9pm
Sun: 12pm - 5pm

The Tiger Inn at Stowting is over three hundred years old, and has a strong reputation for serving the very best country cooking, as well as having a wide selection of wines, lagers, ciders and real ales.

Rustically decorated with plenty of wooden features, hanging hops and candlelit tables, you'll receive a warm welcome from our friendly staff and enjoy some of the highest rated food and drink in the area.

The Tiger Inn is dog friendly (ask for a free doggy treat at the bar) and also has a delightful beer garden with seasonal flowers, a water feature, a log store for use by smokers, and several picnic benches.

I've been coming here for years, great food and service, but I'm sad to say I won't be coming back. Bearing in mind the cost per main course of £15 plus. My burger was over cooked (looked more like a meat ball) no bap provided and no salad. Fish and chips very bland. Short of condiments. Really, what's going on Tiger Inn?. Not good.

This is most definitely one to stay away from. Ordered lamb shank. It came cold. Ask it to be taken back they brought it back the same lamb shank BUT they micro waved it so the meat was hard and my girlfriend had finished her meal by then. The manageress was happy to take all the food BACK and redo it all. I said no as she said a 20 minute wait. The meal.was a disaster. Waitress was good but as to the way the manageress handled the situation was rude and I do NOT recommend you go to eat there. This place is a hit and miss and from what I read more of a miss . Left needing to go eat at a proper restaurant. NO APPOLOGY either. Disgusting.

Authentic pub in the middle of the countryside of Kent. A temple of the ale beer. Good beer and beef. Great portions. Amazing desserts (especially gypsy arm). Only a fault, the french wine ;·)

Very cozy pub with friendly staff. The meal was very good. This pub is always popular both for people who just want a drink and with those eating - with good cause.

Decent food, nice inside. Coped well during mothers day despite being packed. Needs more parking.
