From the outside you might wonder, but it is worth it. The modern interior has been renovated over time to now be a pleasant restaurant retaining a bar area for a drink. The menu has your traditional steaks and fish and chips along side more adventuous dishes.Portions are ample and I have never been disappointed. Rarely make it to dessert but when I have they too have been good. Best to book as very popular. Returned for my birthday dinner and was not disappointed. A few new things on the menu to try including my Japanese starter. Interesting and very different. Finished with a rich dark chocolate torte complete with a candle. Just been to try the new spring menu. We had mussels and smoked quail followed by lamb and beef shin. As good as ever!

Delicious food and the team were very accommodating with our last minute booking. They were even happy for us to bring our dogs. The textures of vegetables was delicious as were the fish and chips. Friendly, welcoming staff. Worth a detour from your planned journey.

My friends and I had a lovely lunch there. The staff were so friendly and helpful - they went above and beyond to be helpful. The food was great!

We just had our 18th anniversary meal here food is totally amazing we have ate in all the best restaurants in south wales and this is the best. Would recommend everyone visit if you want a first class meal. OUTSTANDING
