An efficient and hygienic pub, with friendly staff and good food. The appearance inside was aesthetically pleasing. However, the menu is a little pricey, especially compared to other pubs in the area.

Started very well very welcoming, table was good ready for us. Staff good everything was going well. The food was not up to scratch, my two guests did not comment but my beef was cold and tasteless. Supposed to be 21 days cured. Thank God for good gravy. Don't know if I will return.

Expensive. £44 for two mains and two deserts, at lunch time a bit over the top. Ok you pays your money and makes your choice and if the food was exceptional you don't mind paying a premium but the food was ok but nothing special

We called in on a Wednesday "eat out to help out" night, without booking. The place was fully booked and the only seating offered was outside. With the evening being chilly, we didn't stay.
