Lovely place to have dinner. Went with the one I love today and can't fault the place. Fish chips peas and gravy cooked perfectly and fish wasn't dry. Selection of drink also available. White for her and double whiskey for me. See image for order placed. 5* from me and her
A very friendly pub in a beautiful canal-side location. The best feature is the customer service. Really pleasant, helpful staff who couldn't do more for you.
Visited for drinks and wished we had time to have stayed for food as the dishes being served looked lovely. Fantastic hosts, a very pleasant atmosphere, even with this dodgy climate. Will definitely be visiting again.
Staff friendly, all wore masks, felt safe and relaxed, food was nice but not hot only warm.
Love this pub, food is lovely and all the staff are very welcoming and it’s a great pint in there. I would most definitely recommend this pub for families/couples for food and drinks.

Great place brill hosts and staff are excellent you will enjoy a drink or a meal in the star as selection. of beers is brill and meal are well priced and excellent quality
Perfectly situated on the lock lovely food and great service it's really nice to sit in the garden.
