A dog friendly pub with reasonable amount of seating in the bar, but spaced outside and also a restaurant that isn't for dogs. The food menu was varied, not vast, but a good selection and reasonably priced. Waiting time for our food was about 25 minutes and was piping hot, nicely cooked and a good sized serving which left us too full for any desert.

Excellent Country village Inn and eating House in North Devon. Staff very friendly. Food choices varied. Ales first class.

Always a lovely carvery at the Thatch. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the rest of the food.. very disappointing

Staff are very accomodating, hard working and wearing a smile, One particular waiter, Lamby I think he's called, full O' beans n jokes. Food is slightly better than Weatherspoons, but three times the price. My steak was under, and I swear my chips were McCain's home fries and not home made or double cooked.
