I visited this tea room yesterday with 2 friends. I found this a delightful tea room. The hot drinks were nice and hot. The large selection of cakes was impressive. I would recommend the lemon drizzle cake. Superb. Will definitely visit again when riding in the area.nnAlso the service is polite and friendly.
Stopped for lunch during our bike ride. Enjoyed the food and the coffee. Not cheap and not the most cheerful welcome but very nice setting and prompt service. Had an extra shot in my latte but probably didn’t need it - nice to have a decent coffee you can taste unlike many cafe offerings. Very good cake, though the pork pie lunch was probably filling enough. The afternoon tea needs to be booked in advance but looked lovely.
Exceptional! Wonderful tearoom in a tranquil village. Delicious homemade scones & cakes. Huge variety of leaf teas. Delightful terrace & friendly service. Looking forward to returning.
Cycling past on a hot Sunday morning. Very pretty village. Spotted some bikes parked up and a table and a Lovely tea room. Brilliant homemade cakes. Carrot cake rich, moist and large! Very happy. Friendly owner and staff. Good menu. Fair prices. Lots of character. Coffee could have been a bit stronger but regardless I would recommend a detour.
This is one our favourite Tea Rooms. The cakes are fabulous. Delicious fresh sandwiches and a large selection of hot and cold drinks. Lovely setting and seating inside and out. Highly recommend
