The Country Bumpkin

Story

Based in Hertfordshire, our passion is for preparing sumptuous locally prepared food. We can be found serving fresh hot and cold food at The Old Dairy Tea Shop in Tewin, 4 course Wild Food Nights in selected Pubs across the county and beyond, as well as spit roasting pig, lamb and venison at fayres, markets and private functions. Our Wild Food menu (changed monthly) includes canapes, starter, main and dessert served over a 2 hour single sitting. We love the idea of a relaxed pace of dining, so you can enjoy the company as well as the food. It's great to hear from the kitchen the conversation swap from food to social as each course comes and goes, it’s how they eat in the rest of Europe so why not here!
