Story

Established over 21 years ago and spanning three floors, The Tanning Centre has undergone many changes over the years none more so than the past 3 years with the introduction of safer low UVB tanning tubes (These tanning tubes deliver the same tanning effect as the mid-day Mediterranean summer sun but without the risk of burning), the replacement of our older line of sunbeds and also the modernisation of the salon.

OUR STORY SO FAR:

In September 2014 we decided to replace one of our oldest lay down beds with a brand new Ergoline turbo sunbed and due the high demand for this new sunbed we replaced another of our beds with yet another Ergoline turbo which have proved extremely popular.

Following on from the success of the Ergoline sunbeds range in our salon we took another step in the modernisation of our salon and added yet another sunbed to our collection in September 2017 with the installment of an Ergoline Avantgarde.

The Avantgarde is one of the best sunbeds currently on the market and is fitted with a unique Body Wave acrylic which ensures tanning in the most comfortable and relaxing position throughout your tanning session. The profiled acrylic lifts the upper body and the knee support allows for the even distribution of your weight.This bed offers the most relaxing of sessions and with the top of the market tubes installed, combined fans and music this really is one to be tried.

Our sun showers on offer have also been modernised with a private changing cubicle added to our downstairs unit and our upstairs unit has also been replaced with a newer more up to date model.

We are continually striving to meet the needs of our clients and provide the most up-to-date and safe ways to tan by having the best tubes in the industry and staff who know what is best for each and every client who walks through our door.

From our improvements and your continued support we are now able to offer clients new and existing a choice of 6 lie down sunbeds and 2 sun showers which all vary in strengths. All our beds are re-tubed well in advance of recommended usage meaning you will NEVER be on a bed that needs re-tubing and which ever bed you decide to choose will have recently been re-tubed and will provide you with a wonderful tan.

We have a vast range of tanning accelerators in the salon from sachets, bottles and pots of creams. We stock the Australian gold range, Pro Tan range and many more.

We are based in the center of Rawtenstall on the main street (Bank Street) and offer a friendly welcome to customers new and existing.

As an added bonus we also offer complimentary use of deodorants and lotions in all rooms and fresh cold water is available in reception free of charge. Complimentary make-up wipes, hand sanitiser, stick on goggles are also available all you have to do is ask!.

Please be advised that customers must be 18 or over and we require proof of age if any customer looks between the ages of 18-25.
