Nice pub.  Reasonably priced food and beer and dog friendly too. There is a free carpark just down the road from the pub.

We've been going to the Tannery for a few years now and the staff are excellent. They are happy to help and will even bring your drinks over to your table, which is a nice touch. The drinks and the food are great. We went last week for something to eat. We ordered two burgers. One was the tex mex and the other a vegetarian. Wow they were amazing!! I didn't think I would finish the Tex mex topped with big onion rings. It was so good I finished the lot. The wife got her veggie with chunky chips and that was polished off too. The staff checked if everything was okay with the food. Can't fault the quality. Highly recommended. I'm not a one for adding reviews but we've never had a bad meal / drinks here. Well worth a visit!!

It's Tuesday afternoon so wasn't busy but warm and inviting. Had a nice atmosphere. Lovely pint of cider. Staff very friendly

A fantastic pub that more than welcomes dogs. The drinks available are very varied with a fine selection of ales too. The food is very reasonably priced but excellent in quality & portion sizes, vegetarians catered for too.

Amazing experience. Fantastic hand cut chips, incredible peppercorn sauce made in-house apparently!. Great selection of drinks, good prices. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Dog & child friendly. Couldn't really ask for much more. Free food on Mondays quiz night! Will definitely be back, even though it's a 40 minute drive away from ours

I really enjoy exploring the UK and when I find a gem of a pub like this it really deserves a review. Good selection of well kept real ale. The owner bent over backwards to help me with my rather awkward food allergies and I really enjoyed the result. Family friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly, mine enjoyed the treats. Well done guys I had a fantastic evening.

Went looking for a place to eat and get out of the rain. Lovely building and a great menu. Food was great and the dog was welcomed with treats and water bowls. The food menu is great value for money and I’d highly recommend it. Didn’t recognise some of the reviews here, the staff were attentive and friendly, the food is great and a great selection of beers.

We hit upon this pub having just completed the two rivers meet walk on a damp Sunday morning. The rain was just starting to get heavier and the dog wetter. What a find! A proper pub in every sense of the word. No Sky sports, no gambling machines. Instead, a dog friendly, welcoming haven of beer and cider, plus a menu that, though limited, focused on quality. Our Sunday lunch ticked all the boxes with aplomb - if it were possible, I would have ordered a pint of the gravy

Cool atmosphere, lovely quick service and a fantastic halloumi vegetable burger

Lovely old school pub with quality ales beers and ciders. They make you feel like part of the family. Well worth a visit
