Really nice food, surprisingly quiet for a saturday, staff were kind and friendly. Really toasty by the fire which was perfect after a long day outside
A lovely place great staff tables cleaned before we sat down. Main meals are excellent and the Fish and Chips are amazing. Also good sandwich and burger menus. Felt really comfortable with table layout and the overall atmosphere. Prices are good as was the service. Also a good selection of local beers and other drinks. We have been before so we knew it be good.
Love this pub.Tradtional inside.Sunday lunch was gorgeous with a choice of a small size plate or normal size plate.The small size plate was just right....2 lots of beef, one on the pinkish side and the other no pink.Great idea.Booking is a must.They turned away alot of people who didn't have a booking.
Lovely little find, warm welcome and well kept real beer. Very rustic and standard pub food. Definitely worth a visit.
The food was absolutely amazing, I think the best Sunday lunch I've ever had! Succulent beef, cooked to perfection. The vegetables were crunchy, but not raw and the roast potatoes were delicious. The service was quite slow, bearing in mind not many customers, so that let them down slightly.
