The Talbot Inn at Newnham Bridge

Story

We purchased the Talbot Inn in March 2011 and have spent the past 12 months restoring this historic and magnificent building to resemble its former glory. With its iconic position in the stunning Teme Valley we have tried to inject new life into the Talbot Inn so it can once again be an integral part of the local community and, at the same time, serve the vast number of visitors who visit this beautiful part of Worcestershire.



Our aim is very simple – to offer high quality food, great accommodation and a friendly welcome within an easy going and informal but stylish environment.

Visited here whilst staying on holiday in the area. A nice selection of beer and a small but comfortable beer garden. Food is served from 6pm and we had a decent selection of tapas dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed on the 18th November at the Talbot Inn for one night. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and shown to our rooms. Really comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (big shower!). In the evening we enjoyed a three course meal in the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. I wouldn't hesitate recommending staying and/or dining here and will definitely be making a return visit.
