This place is great, if you want to wait 2 hours for your take away to arrive. We called them the first and was told the food was on it's way. The second time we called they told us the food is in the kitchen. The last time we call them they say they only just got our order. Do NOT arrange delivery with them because you will be waiting ages for your food!

No booz ! So bring yours.o.k. that's out of the way . all the usual suspects and some very good house dishes.takeaway portions bigger than already big house portions. Nice little pub the sportsman opposite the Taj for before or after your ruby murry. my favourite is mixed kebab starter. achar chicken. mushroom rice. sag barji.it's good opposition to the very polished shiplu.Oh and if you are thinking about a pal its actually edible just keep the loo roll in the fridge!

I have been a regular customer at the Taj for a number of years & in my view it offers the best Indian cuisine in Bexhill. I agree with previous posts saying that the home delivery service can be slow but I must say that it is worth waiting for. They do a roaring takeaway business because the food (once it arrives) is as good as when it is served in the restaurant - something I cannot say about other local Indian restaurants.

Absolutely awful, was told 1 hour for delivery, after an hour and 20 minutes was told it had just left the shop and would be 2 to 3 minutes. 20 minutes later we are still waiting only to be told their van has broken down! Not the first time this has happened either. Will never use them again!! Only given 1 star as unable to give NO stars!
