This place is one if the finest fish and chip shops, not just in Bexhill but anywhere. Only downside is that they had to reduce their gluten free day to once a month. My missus has celiacs and would love to be able.to eat here more often but we understand it probably wasn't making much money. But when we do go we buy her some fish from else where and get the chips from here. They also have very friendly and helpful staff who are very approachable. Highly recommended.

You use sunflower oil to fry in which most chippys do. You use biodegradable cartons which most chippys do. You use real malt vinegar and salt and? I did comment on your mushy peas and curry sauce which where very nice. I was a chef for 25 years and in my experience your food is fabulous. All I was saying is that it is very expensive for what it is and that quite a few restaurants are doing the same as you. So your statement of “comments That I clearly don’t know”. My response to that is I clearly know what I’m commenting about. You are selling a gimmick. Good to you.

Normally very good, but added and charged for an extra hallumi and gave a battered sausage rather than the ordered plain sausage. Girl on till seemed distracted by everything else rather than what she was meant to be doing.

Best Fish and Chips in Bexhill is my opinion. You can also get your fish grilled with no batter, gorgeous. Most ingredients are locally sourced. Locally made burgers etc.

Great fish and chips. Love the batter. Clean, friendly and quick service. My favourite fish n chips.
