There were 11 for a 80th Birthday part, most different meals, for a little pub and few staff they were great, the food was brought in hot and most looked lovely. Unfortunately I ordered faggots, mash and mushy peas. Very small portion, so was the sausage and mash.. all in all it was a great day..

Lovely, tasty Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Old pub atmosphere, great service, tasty food. Limited space so best to book.

23/05/2026: Bar has been refurbishednn24/02/2026: Now do Sunday lunch delivery.nn12/12/24: New menu, slight price increase  & a couple of new dishes.nn31/08/24: Great food, service & atmosphere.   Great pub nn6/1/24: Seen lots of posts on Facebook of people saying it's a nice place,  so thought we would try.  Arrived just after 12 & it was busy, which is a good sign.nnWarmly greated by all the staff working & asked if we wanted to open a tab as we was going to order food.  The good thing is that we could sit anywhere even though we had our dog, mist places stick you in the corner.nnWe ordered jacket potato with prawns & a chicken tika wrap with a side of home cut chips.  Took around 15 minutes for our food to arrive & by then there was no tables left, just seats at the bar.nnFood was amazing,  not only in taste but value for money.nnStaff: 10/10: Welcoming, friendly & knowledgeable.nnFood: 10/10: Only the first time eating here but was amazing & looking at the other dishes coming out, my mouth was watering.nnAtmosphere: 10/10: Nearly everyone was talking to each other & not on their phones except the kids.  A genuine local pub.nnThis is definitely a warm & welcoming village  establishment & will highly recommend to family and friends.

Excellent Sunday lunch, possibly the best we've had in South Wales so far. Need to come again to check it wasn't a fluke!nnPlenty of happy staff buzzing around and the service was top notch. Very well done and keep up the good work!

Awsome food but if your in wheelchair use the entrance from the front lane it's flatteroh and it's dog friendly  woof woof Bryn & Wendy
