Great steak! Staff were pretty attentive. Only minor criticism is £2.20 for a 200ml mixer, and no lager on tap, just bottles - makes for an expensive shandy!!

Really disappointing!! I hadn't been for a few years and I was really looking forward to it. I rang the day before to see if a particular dish could be done without garlic due to an allergy. While on the phone the chef was asked if this was possible and he said yes. On arrival it was written next to our booking about no garlic. When I ordered the main course I was then told this now couldn't be done without garlic so I had to order a dish I hadn't wanted!! It took an hour and a half for our food to come out and my friends order came out wrong! It was very tasteless with what seemed like left over Brussels fried up and dry mash potato! It then took another half hour to take a desert order. Only one member of staff was polite and helpful. I will not be returning or recommending which is a shame as I'd previously felt this was one of northamptons best restaurants.

One of the best restaurants in Northampton. Lovely food, great wine and excellent service. We had lunch there and both meals were really delicious. Highly recommended.

Can never go wrong choosing the Stuffed Olive. Great good, lovely service and surroundings as well as fair prices. My favourite local restaurant.
