Tamarind Restaurant

Food was nice and served fast, staff were friendly and funny and I thought the price was reasonable, under £20 per head for main, side and drink.

Very poor experience. Arrived on time for our reservation but our table wasn't ready, told to wait, no drinks offered, no coats taken very abrupt staff. All they had to do was push two tables together, place was almost empty. Food arrived cold or luke warm, replaced but no apologies made. Expensive for what it was. Won't be going back, lots of better places out there

Very indifferent. Onion barji was stodgy. Main courses were luke warm. Manager aware, but not really interested. Won t come again !!!

I must say, the food was really good and well presented. On the other hand, the service and attitude by the man , who said he was the manager left a lot to be desired! It was as if we were an inconvenience. Advertised as closing at 11:30 but by 10:50 and asking if we had time for coffee ?!? As I said.... great food.. But.......
