Recently stayed here and was somewhat disappointed.  No curb appeal and on checking in the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. The bar was lacking, didn't even have a slice of lemon to put in a drink. Our room was ready and although it was clean it's very dated with big dark furniture. The bathroom floor looked like polished wood and was quite slippery.  When you sat on the bed twin room it moved. The chairs in the room were very low and uncomfortable. The whole hotel looks tired and looks like it needs dragging into the 21st century, it felt soulless, and seemed no better than other well known chain hotels. The location is spot on and the breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice.

I am always enamoured by the quality of the staff at this hotel. With a mixture of work and recreation this visit the location within the town is perfect for exploring the town and the garden is the perfect place to sit and unwind. I took advantage of an upgrade to a junior suite this visit which allowed me to put my feet up and enjoy the large TV. The bathroom was furnished with enough quality soaps and conditioner shower gel to be able to enjoy a shower or a soak in the bath. Slippers and bathrobes supplied a quality iron and ironing board really helped me to get thos troublesome creases out from my shirt and jacket. The bar and restaurant perfect with a high quality selection of food and drink, did I mention the really attentive staff who remember you and even bring fresh breakfast items to your table without being asked to? All together a perfect place to unwind even when for work it feels like a holiday. Top marks to the team. Thank you!

My husband and I came here for aweekend away , our second visit as we had our honeymoon herenIt was special again. Lovely clean room spacious bathroom.nMattress on the bed was very comfortable.nThe bar reception was very helpful , breakfast was plentiful and delicious.nSpecial thanks to the polite professional and kind bar staff called Daniel and bar manager sorry forgot his name.nWe did not want to come home thankyou for making our break away much needednHopefully see you next year.

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location. Close to Royal Shakespeare Theatre and all the Shakespeare sites. The rooms are LARGE, especially for England. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable, the staff are helpful and efficient. It is a 15 minute trek to the theatre from here which is not bad but is not through the more picturesque parts of Stratford.nThe parking is fairly plentiful but complicated to work, we ended up accidentally paying twice after being exhorted by the signage to pay on arrival and then being charged by the hotel too.
