My stay at The Stone House will be a memory I’ll keep with me forever.  The property is like something from a Mediterranean dream; the apartments are gorgeous and kitted out with everything you need. The location couldn’t be more central although just out of reach of the busy waterfront road and the price was unbelievably fair.  Above all, however, I must praise Rena, the gracious owner of the property. As other reviews have mentioned, Rena’s breakfasts which are included are second to none. Some of the best cakes I’ve ever had, ever. Zucchini and feta pie. Homemade with love every morning. Rena doted on me with freshly pressed orange juice, coffee and yoghurt until I was bursting. She even fed me when I arrived earlier than the arranged check-in time.  Rena will treat you with the love and care of a doting mother. She’s chatty and funny and full of life. Enjoy your time with her and with the island, of course. We can all learn how to love life from people like Rena!

Marvellous Host Mrs Rene who is in charge of the accomodation. She will dish out superb home made breakfast Greek Style consisting of delicious pastries, cakes, greek yogurt, vegetables etc. The accomodation is uniquely built with real stone boulder and really feels like being in a stone cave. Wonderful spacious room with a bed on the 1st level with long sofas, kitchen table, kitchen pantry and upper level deck consisting of cupboard and another queen bed. The toilet and shower is abit small and narrow just like most European hotels but it is only a small issue that does not affect the 5 stars of the place. Very near to the port of Aegina as well as you just need to walk up the slope across the jetty for less than 3mins and you will reach it. Breakfast at the garden during sumny morning is recommended too.

Ms Rena the host is very accommodating and friendly. The house is very comfortable. Do not follow the google map walking distance but u just head straight to the right side once you’re arrived from the port towards the second left turn from it and then walk straight and you’ll find this lovely greek mamma mia’s vibe home.

Delicious breakfast prepared by the welcoming host, spacious and comfortable rooms, and ideally situated for exploring Aegina.

Wonderful, charming place and amazingly nice, hospitable owner. Food is also great! I definitely recommend this place
