Stayed overnight on way up north. Easy to get to from M6. Such a lovely quirky place to stay. Easy parking at the back.Cafe/bar/rooms upstairs. We had delicious fresh cooked pizzas in the bar, which was busy with locals and had a lovely friendly atmosphere - a good night's sleep in a lovely, clean room despite overlooking a roundaboutand breakfast in a window overlooking the picturesque street. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We would use this as our local if we lived here and can recommend it for an overnight stay.nBedroom was at the top of the house with no lift, but stairs were not bad even for my arthritic knees IYKYK. If you want views of rolling hills this isn't it, but we didn't find the road a disturbance.
four of us stayed here on a Saturday evening to attend a wedding locally. The pub and its staff are excellent. The rooms at the top of the house were well appointed, clean and comfortable and had everything you would need. The bed was really lovely and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future and can highly recommend!
A fantastic bar and coffee shop with great coffee and lovely surroundings. The perfect place to stop for a break while out and about in Eccleshall. The staff are amazing, friendly, and nothing is ever too much trouble.
Surprised with the size and quality of the room.nTop floor and there was absolutely no noise from the deserving busy bar.nnGood atmosphere and breakfast was fantastic with good breakfast options.nnDefinitely would stay again
Our 2nd stay at The Little George as we were visiting family in the area, and it didn’t disappoint. Rooms are big, very comfortable and well equipped. The staff are friendly and went above and beyond to sure our stay was a good one. Sat right in the middle of Eccleshall it is also g a great place to explore the town and its many pubs and places to eat from.
