Absolutely fantastic night. Fast service, polite staff, and cant fault one dish. Seated 6 of us and we each had 3 courses. All our meals arrived together, hot and beautifully presented.
Went for a lunch out with my work colleagues, I found the service was a little slow, my gammon was a little under cooked and the chips were a bit over done imo. We waited quite a while for our deserts to arrive but was very well presented and tasty when they did.
Very nice food but the white mousse dessert very disappointing in quantity. £6.50 and it was 3 teaspoon sizes of mousse on a large plate. I mentioned that everything was great but for that. Side salad was a bit small too. The staff serving were very attentive and thorough with asking when we wanted drinks, taking empty plates away as they were there, so not to leave us cluttered. Nice choice of food. Would go again
From the outset, the car park and tables dotted around will keep you coming back. The decor is a treasure trove of cricket, rugby and sport oddments. Real peanuts in jars and it just feels right. Please stay away as I want to go back and have a quiet wine. Which was recommended and Quaffable. My son will like that remark.
Just been for lunch today with my wife. Good quality food served hot and tasty. All the staff were amazing, attentive & polite. Perfect timing for every course and the dining area was pleasantly setup and comfortable. Well done to Brian & Team, a real delight to have visited first time and will be coming back
We are locals at the Stanhill so we go on a regular basis. Over the last year all our favourites have been taken off the menu but we have still visited quite regularly. We were delighted tonight when at least two of our favourites have been put back on the menu. Hope this is a sign of things to come and all our favourites will be back shortly
Fabulous Christmas day dinner, brilliant service and staff very attentive, nice digestive pause,s between courses guess where we will be booking for next year. I've never had a more relaxing Christmas day thank you.
Great pub and I’d definitely recommend. I was surprised by the range of options in their vegan menu, which can be hard to find at times. Great customer service, great food.
Excellent meal. Ordered off the sandwich menu, which is really reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend it. Friendly staff and lovely setting
