Book ahead if you fancy a bite of their great grub! This place is always busy. It's a great place for a quick pint, or to while away the hours in their beer garden, especially as the sun sets over it.

Inside is cosy, relaxed, and comfortable. Service has always been quietly effecient and friendly.

I visited the stag today for a group meal. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend as we went in and were looking for the party we were meeting and one of staff on multiple occasions was extremely rude. It’s a shame as the other staff were very helpful but her customer service was extremely poor. To have that member of staff be continually rude, muttering to herself was unwarranted. Food is a reasonable standard but over priced.

Great pub, especially when the outside area can be used. Not especially suitable to having kids there when the weather doesn't permit using the outdoor space but if that's not a concern it's exactly what you want from a pub.
