I’d give them zero stars if I could! Their queue system for hot coffee is abysmal! Preparing coffees for people that ordered after me. Waited more than 30 mins for 2 drinks, and the chap in the pony tail didn’t even bother to apologise! I got my money back and went to the cafe near the duck lake instead. Avoid this place at all cost. Overpriced, unfriendly and shockingly rude staff! Up yours
Best coffee today ! Café overall is very pleasant and friendly with wide range if delicious cakes and nibbles. But if you go regularly you know usually if coffee will be good based on barista on duty.
We have been twice now. First time we waited 40 mins for hot dogs. Today waited for coffee watching people who came after us get theirs. We asked twice. We ended up leaving without having had our coffee!!!!
Really sorry but I didn’t have a great experience on Saturday 18th Feb. . The chap serving me was great, went through my choices but the praise ends there. The seating areas were dirty and bits of food everywhere. I am afraid that the chap that delivered my toasted sandwich had terrible personal hygiene including greasy hair which is un acceptable in the food environment. If I had found a manager I would have said something.
Nice drinks and cakes. Social distancing and cleanliness observed by staff. Was nice to sit outside on a lovely autumn afternoon. I usually go to then lake cafe but will visit this one again. Looking forward to when the animal viewing reopens but further into the park the horses came to say hello.
Had to change my rating as the service has gradually worsened. Was there last weekend and queue was very slow. Staff are unorganised. Many customers were upset about the waiting times. Staff need to be better trained and prepared.Food: 1/5
For cheese toastie some £5.75.For the taste it's expensive. Waited to long..not because it's too good but because there is no option to buy anywhere else.
I received a warm welcoming whilst ordering my latte by the gent at the front of house i must admit that latte was grand thankyou to the gent that served me and keep up the great service. also purchased a jar of local honey from the cafe which is amazing.
Waited over 30mins for a coffee, chips and nachos, got attitude because my ticket wasn't sent by the machine that was the dribble I was told. Save your time and money and bring your own.
Nice little cafe, but it was super busy so there was a long wait for the coffee. A little expensive but nice and clean and it's dog friendly so always a winner for me. No idea what the food is like though.Service: 3/5
