Had a great stay but thought maybe the reception staff could have been a bit more welcoming/polite. My room was lovely but had no shower gel/shampoo or conditioner left. Bottles were empty. Went to wash my hands and my hand wash was also empty. Lazy cleaner?? Maybe. But overall a nice hotel and nice breakfast staffRooms: 4/5
Location is great rooms are lovely but my shower had more water exiting the hose than the head .. my view was ... interesting but it was a works trip so I'm not really entitled to a nice one! Breakfast... first day teas and coffee were freezing the next day they'd done away with the canisters and were making fresh! Brilliant! Staff were friendly and helpful the venue was very clean parking was easy - a nice place to stay all in all
I stayed at this hotel for one night, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The toilets in the lobby area were filthy, with all the cubicles blocked, which was disgusting for a hotel of this caliber. When I arrived I asked to add breakfast to my room charge to be billed to my company, upon check-out I was informed that they couldn’t do it. This was frustrating, as they only told me afterward, leaving me to pay for it myself. This lack of flexibility and poor service didn’t meet expectations. Would not recommend based on this experience.
Loved the family room, double bed and sofa bed were spacious and comfortable Breakfast is really good, so come hungry Kids loved the pool, pity they took you g for the Jacuzzi but it's very handy having it in the same area. Gym is bit small but more than adequate, food changing rooms and showers etc Really convenient location, walking distance from Touchwood Mall and nice road to run down . Rooms: Family room is actually two rooms, king size bed is massive and the sofa bed was comfy. Walkability: East 5min walk to Touchwood, you do have to cross a busy junction though Noteworthy details: Parking is £10 a day and not included in the price
Disappointing Experience During Family Stay We recently stayed for a family function and booked multiple rooms for the occasion. Unfortunately, our experience was spoilt by an incident on our first night that left us quite dissatisfied. At around 11 PM, while the hotel was quiet, the manager approached our group and informed us that we could not consume any outside food in the lobby or bar area and that it was only permitted in our rooms. This was particularly frustrating as there were 12 of us, and a staff member had told us it was perfectly fine to eat in the lobby or lounge area. We specifically chose this hotel for our special occasion and expected a more accommodating attitude, especially since we were misinformed by the staff. The manager's abrupt approach and lack of flexibility significantly dampened our stay. We hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and improves its communication and customer service to prevent future guests from experiencing similar disappointments.
Excellent hotel, great rooms, helpful staff, good pool and breakfast and very clean. So why 4 stars instead of 5? The extra £10 a day to park. I understand there are reasons for it but it is frankly disingenuous to say the room rate is £X when it's £X+£10. There should be an agreement with the outsourced parking company so that the cost is included in the room rate.
Excellent place to stay, only 4 minutes walk to the shopping centre. The staff were fantastic. Reception girls were great, special thanks to Lucy a lovely girl, nothing was too much trouble . Breakfast was great, We will be staying again.Rooms: 5/5
Thank you to Keighley and the events team at the lovely voco St John's for being on TEAM SECRET with us for our corporate Singing Waiters in the UK surprise last week. We were looked after beautifully, the food we were served was absolutely lovely, hot and yum. The staff looked after us as one of their own and the room we were in was absolutely perfect for our performance. We cannot wait to come back to surprise again in the future. Thank you from myself and the team Paula and the Singing Waiters in the UK Team
We recently stayed for 8 days due to business in the area. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Special mention to a staff member called Was, he provided excellent hospitality throughout our stay and really went the extra mile even when we arrived back late at night, we I’ll definitely be rebooking next yearRooms: 5/5
Unfortunately after my second stay here I’ve dropped my rating from 5 star to 3 star . Beware room 3000 where the window is screwed shut for some reason . It was like a sauna and we slept so badly . Even worse I had specifically requested a room with opening window as I have allergies . The night porter Waz was lovely and tried to make amends by bringing a fan and iced water but they simply weren’t enough as it was a HOT night . I have fed this back to the hotel -they have asked if they could do anything to put this right - but when asked how they would usually put right a problem like this retrospectively - they have twice texted me to say they will look into It immediately but then never got back to me . Suggestion to hotel - don’t send a text asking how is the room if you’re not prepared to deal with any negative feedback but really you should be able to comfortably sleep in a hotel room . Apart from the overheated room it was well decorated , good location , EV charging and nice staff. I think we were just unlucky and I would give it another try .
