Many thanks to Zed & Erika. Wonderful place, full of happiness and reflect the real London city experience with atmosphere, food and beer. The food is very very good. Try the beef ribs pie :Food: 5/5
They had a really delicious fish and chips. The fish was fried really well nice and crispy and the tartar sauce complemented it perfectly well. The chips were fried well too. And the mushy peas were a nice touch and tasted pretty good as well. The bulmers cider was great and lovely that it came with a glass and ice. It was a large bottle as well which was a pleasant surprise. We also tried the Camden Hills lager on draught and it was perfect as well. Crisp and cold in a nice large cup. All a great combination. The service here was great! They were always there to help us with any suggestions for beers/ciders. They brought out our food quickly and were friendly to boot. The atmosphere was the perfect London pub. It had everything you would normally think of and plenty of seating. Definitely a fun place to visit in London!
Wonderful environment. Friendly & efficient. Great meal-> fish & chips, beef pie, macaroni were fabulous. Reasonably priced.Food: 5/5
Traditional pub with a 150 history as St. George / Nicholson's hosting a walk-up bar. I enjoyed a lively atmosphere full of locals and tourists enjoying laughs & brews. Don't forget to check out the shot specials at 4 for £18 to get your evening started. I didn't see anyone eating at 5 pm thus, I didn't try the food. It's a nice place to throw back a few if you're near Victoria Station.
Mighty sausage and mash at this place. Service is good, location is great and we happily sat in there for hours enjoying the food and shooting the breezeFood: 4/5
Loved the roast! Chicken was succulent, spuds fluffy, Yorkshire homemade! Did ask for more gravy and it was delivered! Friendly staff and it was all at a great price for London! Football was on and is not my favourite but it wasn't too loudFood: 5/5
Zed and Crew made us feel warm and welcome from the moment we walked in the door. They accommodated our off menu drink request and took the time to ask where we were from and get to know our stories and share their own. We came back the next day to have a traditional meal true to the locale and were not disappointed. Our Nicholason’s fish and chips and British steak and Nicholason’s pale ale pie were delicious and we highly recommend that you make St George’s Tavern a must stop during your stay in London.
Great food and service with lovely staff in a traditionally cosy pub. Thank you so much for having us.Food: 5/5
Stumbled across this local spot close to my hotel, and was very happily surprised. Food was excellent & so was the service! Erica was great. So polite and accommodating. I went a few times. Tried their fish and chips, homemade chicken and mushroom pie and fish cakes. All were fantastic! Highly recommended
Leaving drinks for colleagues from work on the basement area. It was really nice location, at the back of Victoria Station. The Pub staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere in the place. Very well kept PH and a lovely place to meet friends for drinks. I did not have any food, so I can't comment on it. Plenty of seat outside also. Recommended for groups who wish to have a reserved area to have work drinks.
