Fantastic food - I has the pigeon starter and salmon with chive sauce, with perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables. Delicious, and good portions. The decor and welcome could also not be faulted. And at surprisingly good value.

Good quality food. They do have a few vegetarian things but you have to ask for the vegetarian menu. The vegetable puff pastry is very nice.

First class food, service and atmosphere thoroughly deserving 5 stars. Staff went out of their way to help when taxi failed to arrive late at night. Very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous place! Complete fluke having the place to ourselves! Can only imagine that less discerning individuals made the mistake of heading to the beach because of the mini heat wave instead of chilling out at this little gem of a restaurant... The food was exceptional! Best salmon with dill cream sauce I have ever had the pleasure of consuming... And the sticky toffee pudding was so light and fluffy that the only thing keeping it grounded was the creamy toffee sauce! To die for. Both dishes were on the table d'hote menu which had a great selection and was very reasonably priced. Four of us ate for £88 including drinks!! We couldn't fault the service, which was warm, friendly and unobtrusive - perfect. We loved our visit and will definitely be back for more :-D

Fantastic food great surroundings and pleasant happy staff. I would certainly go again an entirely enjoyable experience.
