Amazing food and service. Very different to your typical curry house. The surrounding is beautiful. Chic and modern. Good selection of drinks including cocktails/mocktails. Felt like it was very much an occasion.
After hearing a lot about this restaurant, I made a visit with my family today. We ordered some starters, which were average in taste and then the main course - which was very disappointing. All dishes were made so sweet, I felt like eating dessert. We specifically asked the waiter to make our food spicy, but they were very sweet in nature. Biryani did not even taste close to what I remember back in India. The ambience was good, but the table next to us was occupied by a group of very load crowd. The waiters were polite, but didn’t react to any of our feedback. I will not recommend this place to anyone. It is quite an expensive restaurant and I expected quite better quality food. Thoroughly disappointed!
I ordered a takeaway from this restaurant for the first time and I won’t be going back. I’ll start with the positives: service was great! It was super quick and the delivery man was absolutely lovely. However, most of the food was awful. Microwaveable rice would have been nicer and the korma made me feel physically nauseous. I also ordered poppadoms and didn’t receive them. But I’ve got to say, the Sag Aloo was really nice. The meal for 1 was £28 and a complete waste of money. I’d avoid this place if you don’t want to feel ill. Or at least, don’t order the chicken Korma.
Our friends took us for dinner there and we were all pleasantly greeted, the service is excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff cheerful. Overall, great experience and definitely recommend this place.
We have been wanting to visit here for a while as had been recommended at how nice it was. Well we were very disappointed, constantly asked if we wanted to order poppadoms, eventually asked if we can have a menu, we were then asked if we didn't want the buffet. We explained that we hadn't been before so was unaware of a buffet. It then was quite difficult to then actually extract what the options were, even getting the price for buffet then took a while. We nearly gave up and left. Decided to stay and have the buffet as price was reasonable unlike the menu. What a poor decision that was ... tasteless and no flavour although meat did taste fresh. We asked to remove the service and the restaurant fund charge and was questioned as to why Won't be returning
Attended a 60th birthday celebration for my brother yesterday. We had a buffet: the food was excellent, and the service was brilliant. I would highly recommend this resturant. Will definitely revisit. Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegeterain dishes Parking: Numerous parking spaces available Dietary restrictions: They catered well for people with dietary needs
Really big venue with plenty of parking. Modern decor and friendly service. Separate bar, dinner and entertainment suite. It is rather expensive for what it is, but the food is tastyFood: 4/5
