A delightful old fashioned pub with friendly locals, good food, and excellent real ale.
The menu is extensive, occasionally confusing, but the food tastes great, even if some small things on the menus were not on the plate. A free dessert more than made up for this.
If they asked how they could improve. I would advise cutting down on the massive menu choice.

This is a quirky little pub with great beer! Lots of different outdoor seating areas in the summer. I like taking my dog there - she has a packet of Pork Scratchings while I have a pint to keep her company 😊

I will return to eat there again in the future because of the variation of vegetarian options on the menu. Some publicans haven't got a clue sadly. My suspicion was that it wasn't entirely home cooked but I don't mind. My plate was generous and one course was adequate for a Sunday lunch. The staff were in brighter spirits than on my last visit so I felt much more at home.

Great pub, have been here 3 times during my canal boat holidays. Being just off the towpath it's conveniently located. Good beer, good food, good banter. Their choice of pies is astounding.

Went for Christmas day lunch and it was excellent. I have been twice before and will definitely go again in the near future.
