Mark and his wife Jennie were amazing hosts during my stay at The Spindrift in mid-July. Not only was the room comfortable and clean, but the breakfast was well-cooked. I must give honor to Mark who, when my cab did not show up, took it upon himself to get me to the train station in his car; I will never forget this act of generosity and grace. Should I make it back to Fyfe, which I hope to do someday, I would most definitely want to stay at The Spindrift again. The place and the owners are excellent.
Warm welcome on arrival. Lovely room and a very comfortable bed. Well stocked honesty bar with a nice sitting room to relax in the evening with a drink. Good choice of cereal, fruit, cooked breakfast but the only thing that let it down for me was that the cooked breakfast was barely warm and my husband's baked beans were cold. Other than that I would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit in the autumn.
Let me start off by telling you that Jennie and Mark are outstanding hosts! The moment that you meet them you feel that you have been friends for a long time. They take every opportunity to chat with you and make you feel at home. And what a home it is! No detail has been overlooked. From the delicious breakfast and bespoke dining settings to wonderful accommodations. We were fortunate enough to stay in the unique Captain's cabin in the top peak of the house overlooking the harbor. The original owner of the house, a sea captain, would spend hours in this room paneled and trimmed in brass just like his ship's cabin. From here he would watch the harbor for his arriving ships. Whichever room you stay in, be sure to spend some quiet time in their lovely Back Garden. I have attached a bird's-eye view of the garden which doesn't begin to show the loving detail that has gone into this special place. Whenever we are close by to this area of Scotland we will make this our home base!
Stayed here for one night and welcome was very friendly. Room was of high standard and breakfast in the morning was also excellent. Went out there way to help with parking my vehicle. Little touches like this make a massive difference. Thanks. Kevin.Rooms: 5/5
We had a lovely stay in The Spindrift Guesthouse. The house was beautifully decorated. Everything you would need as a guest was present even small details such as an honesty bar, beautiful garden and our room even had a bath. Mark and Jennie where very nice and advised us on several things for next walking day, like a nice restaurant to have lunch at and details of the hiking tour to have the best hike possible. Thank you very much for the hospitallity.
Stayed here for a few nights. The hosts and staff were absolutely terrific and the accommodation was full of character. 10/10

We stayed here at the weekend while attending a wedding nearby. Jeni and Mark are wonderful hosts and couldn’t have been more welcoming on our arrival. Our room was cosy, comfortable, and immaculately clean, breakfast was plentiful and delicious and they have an incredibly well stocked bar! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.Rooms: 5/5
Very warm welcome to the upmarket bed and breakfast. Warm and clean rooms. Very good breakfasts with regular menu changes. Bar for residents, but pay cash otherwise vat applied. Great experience.
We are just home from the Spindrift, sadly we cut our stay short due to recent storm. Would definitely recommend this B&B, Jenny, Mark and staff were lovely and very attentive. Rooms are spotless, comfortable and cosy. Breakfast delicious. We loved the cosy lounge to relax in the evening. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jenny and Mark
