Very comfortable and clean accommodation with stunning views across the bay. Superb host made for a pleasant stay always checking we had what we needed especially at breakfast which was excellent. Plenty of secure and easily accessible bike storage.Rooms: 5/5
The room is sparkling clean, comfortable bed, very Scotland style and many details. We have a seaview room which is amazing! The towels and the toiletriestheir handmade products are all luxury quality compare with other B&B we stay in Highland. The food is hotel quality food, fresh and delicious. Also we found it have a professional karaoke equipment and free to use. Rolf is a superhost, very friendly guy. I left my jacket in the room and I back to home. We back and forward communicate for 2 weeks and finally he helps me to drop off in the post office. Thank you so much! Strongly recommend B&B!! Definitely we will come back next time!
Great host, rooms very clean, decor maybe a little dated, but the attention to detail is great. Proper coffee maker in the room, fab towels and soaps. Breakfast and dinner were yummy and served with a smile. Highly recommended!!!Rooms: 4/5
Was a great reprieve from sleeping in a campervan and had wifi. Bed was comfortable and shower was very hot with good pressure. Dinner was filling but wish we had tried a local eatery instead, as there is an option if chicken and chips or spagetti bolegnese. Breakfast was solid. Host was lovely and make sure you say hello to Marley the dog - he loves cuddles!!!
Amazing little bnb on the nc500. Really comfy bed, very spacious and a giant bathroom. It was very welcoming and made sure we was well fed and watered in the morning setting us up for another day of driving.
Stayed here 2 nights, very satisfied with our choice. The owner is very friendly and even left us to use his wood for the fire pit both nights. And just standing there with a beautiful view, was amazing. Definitely recomend
Stayed on the 18th May 21, had a fantastic stay, very welcoming, without a doubt the best stay of our trip. Great breakfast in the morning and has a very friendly black lab who loves a fuss. Would highly recommend if anyone is looking for somewhere to stop.Rooms: 5/5
Very clean and relaxing B&B. I have stayed here twice now and Rolf is always very welcoming. Enough magazines, games and books on things like Crofting on hand if you want to sit in the lounge for a bit, which has scenic views of the water / beach ahead. Would normally stay at the main Melvich hotel, but they were fully booked one year for the 500 mile lot so had picked this one, which is just a 5 minute walk down the road. I would always go back to the Shieling now
Lovely B&B with view over the beach and sea. The room and bathroom were both clean and the bed very comfy! Everything was perfect and the breakfast was delicious! Rolf is such a welcoming host. We would recommend it and come back next time we’re in the area!
Good location for our NC500. We enjoyed the lovely hot shower in our room best of our trip along with the coffee machine. Rolf was friendly and made a tasty breakfast.
