Story

Social Glasgow is a Royal Exchange Square institution, and is proud to sit nestled amongst a selection of great shops, cafes, bars & restaurants. Its name lends itself to exactly what we love to do here, meet friends old and new, and socialise!

At night, the square is transformed into a bustling location for clubbers and people out to have a good time. We are right there in the middle of it all, under the thousands of glittering fairy lights. The lights dim, the music fills the space with everything from soulful house to funk and chart, and the cocktails begin to stack on the bar.

The Social is proud participants in the Glasgow Best Bar None award scheme and has been awarded the Gold award.

Newly refurbished joint. Amazing absolutely one of Glasgows finest place to chill, have a drink & eat. Fabulous!
Clean and nice decor, in a central location. Reasonably quiet in the afternoon although got busier towards end of the working day. Pretty good food selection - was delivered promptly and tasted fine. All staff very welcoming, but our waitress didn’t catch her name particularly helpful and attentive.
Great cocktails and food. Place had been completely refurbished so looks fabulous.
Good safety measues in place. Service was a bit slow. Chose a cocktail from one section of the menu only to be told i couldn't order it...not sure why as the waitress was a bit mumbled. Had a couple of small tapas style dishes to nibble on...sent chicken wings back as they were cold. Not sure if I would revisit
Amazing food at a reasonable price. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed their suggestions. Will definitely visit again when I'm next in Glasgow!
Cocktails were nice after the absolute hassle to get in. Bouncer was extremely rude to me and my party, drinks were very pricey and service was slow even taking in to consideration the level of business. Not in a hurry to come back
Rory from the social is the stand out member of staff here, on the ball, friendly, fast and a fabulous representative of the place. Always good banter when this guy is around!
