The building its self is beautiful, very well designed and has different dining rooms. The service was attentive and friendly, everyone was so helpful and welcoming. This created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was incredible, loved the sharing plates and the mains. The puddings were my highlight as I have a very sweet tooth and they were great for sharing too. Highly recommend for birthdays and also there is the space for very large groups. My new favourite restaurant in Glasgow! Vegetarian options: Lots of options for everyone Dietary restrictions: My mum is vegan and it was not an issue, there is something for everyone on the menu Wheelchair accessibility: Quite a lot of stairs but there is a lift too inside, dining options on ground floor not just other areas. May be difficult with a wheelchair as my mum struggled a bit with crutches
Gorgeous building, feels like walking into a fancy Thai hotel but feels grounded once seated. Food was so good, authentic but top grade with a twist. Tacos were surprisingly great! Mya Maya not Mia gave amazing service would somehow request her again if possible Vegetarian options: Most meat options can be substituted with vegetarian options eg vegan chicken, not just tofu
Lovely place with lovely interior. Service was very good and the food came fast. I would recommend going here but it’s just a bit pricey. The food tasted nice as well.Food: 4/5
stunning restaurant with lovely chandeliers and a warm ambience. Food is super and really filling so worth the price ! and would definitely come again !! I had the vegetable spring rolls, beef-brisket curry and the banana fritters.Food: 5/5
The first time in Glasgow and my family take me to celebrate my birthday at this Thai Restaurant, we can say that their foods similar to real Thai food and good taste.Food: 5/5
really pretty building, first time trying some of the smaller plates with the chaopayra sharing platter and would highly recommend! and would recommend the pork belly curry as it never disappointsFood: 5/5
Dine here many times years ago, decided to revisit and noticed there’s little to no change to the deco and ambience of Chao phraya! Still beautiful and grand as ever. However, I have noticed there’s a change in their food taste and flavour. The green curry was a let down with unpleasant spices used instead of the authentic Thai gaeng keow wan recipe. Khua Kling was good but lack of spiciness and saltiness. Som tum was also mild and lack impact. Deep fried aubergine was close to perfection but wish there was more basil and sauce to it. Since the Fish cakes Hor Mok pla wasn’t available they recommended Salt and pepper squid which was pleasant and fresh. I won’t recommend this place if you are expecting authentic Thai food but mainly for its decoration and location. If they have options to adjust the spiciness and authenticity of the food quality I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Was very excited to diner here and we had a dinner reservation. The Thai chicken tacos were delicious but everything was downhill from starters. The chicken pad Thai was suggested as the most popular dish, however it didn’t resemble the flavours of an authentic Pad Thai. The rest of our food, cocktails and dessert were also quite average and this place didn’t live up to the hype. We were left disappointed at the end of the meal!
Great Food, small portions, many varieties of tastes - sweet, sour, spicy. Brilliant atmosphere. Will visit again.Food: 4/5
Excellent meal in very impressive surroundings Service could be improved, however... Luckily, I had checked out the menus in advance and was aware of the lunch menu. We were only given the a la carte menu when we sat down, and I had to ask specifically for the lunch menu Service on the whole was quite slow, but it didn't bother our particular group, as we were in for a good catch-up
