Stayed in the large yurt had everything we needed. Really enjoyed it. Loved the honesty shop everything you needed so didn't have to leave the camp. Unfortunately we only found out about the geo trekking around sight on the last day. Wish we were told about it at check in......

This is a really classy but relaxed modern place, very intelligent in its attention to detail and servicing a wide range of types of guest from rough-it campers in the field below, to families in self-catering, to those looking for a bit of Welsh luxury in the main house itself. The breakfasts are great and full of choice; the honesty bar has a wonderful range of local and international drinks plus the best chocolate (G&B) and crisps; the beds are super-comfy; the bathroom vast; plenty of maps and mags and books available to consult; and their land extends downhill to the Mawddach Trail -- so you can rent one of their bikes and take it down there for the most beautiful level bike trail in the country from the mighty bridge and seaside tat at Barmouth to the beautiful slate-dark gold-rush town of Dolgellau, with all the wonderfully peaceful, ever-changing moods of the reed-beds and sessile oak woods and tidal flats along the way. And for the birders, there are great reserves -- estuarine and woodland -- on both sides of the river trail as well as nests of martins on the house itself. Plus the impeccably sited George III pub at the next river crossing upriver is the ideal spot to sit and mull.

Lovely B&B with amazing views, very well finished rooms, and hugely friendly. Next time we will be trying one of the Yurts!
