A lunchtime carvery and meals to celebrate a family birthday. A group of 10 all seated together with ease. 
High chairs and children's menus all available. 
We visited during the half term holiday and the place was busy, but the service staff coped brilliantly.
My grandson enjoyed the small indoor and outdoor play areas. 
The prices were reasonable and the food was quality. 
We wouldn't hesitate to return.
It needs a "way in" sign post on the A58 junction of the roundabout.

Waiting in the line for carvery for 50 min. Good food... but far too long a wait. Maybe there should have been more than just one person serving meat and yorkies. If I knew how long I was going to stand and wait in that line... I would have gone elsewhere. Like I say...the food was fine.

Been here a few times. Always had the carvery, which is well priced. Always managed to get a table. Friendly staff. Little inside play area for the 5s and under. Plenty of parking. Never felt rushed to finish and leave.

Not a great experience here. We visited midweek to take advantage of the 2 meals for £10 menu. This was not advertised in the restaurant so we had to check it was available before ordering, and no menus for this were offered, so we had to download from the website. Staff were very pleasant but quite disorganised. Only one member of staff was on the bar, and she simply wasn't able to keep track of who was next to be served. Starters came out quickly, and were hot and tasty, but then there was a long wait for mains. The food was delivered to the incorrect table initially, and when it finally came to us was dried out and overcooked. Shame it was quite poor as the staff were nice....I can't recommend based on my experience however!

We go regularly to the silver birch on a Saturday as they have a steak deal on with wine. 2 for 20.00 pounds.  The steak is lovely. wine is a really good wine. You can see the price on the wine list. The staff are always obliging.
