Fantastic service as usual. Cannot recommend Iain and Jim highly enough. Whether it is a scenic bimble at 15m or Technical dive on a pristine wreck, or anything in between, they will be able to arrange something for you. Great boats, lifts, tea coffee, chocolate and fantastic cakes.
2 awesome dives. After months of abstinence it was good to get back in the water. Excellent service, excellent coffee and flapjacks too. What's not to love?
One of my favourite boat charters in the uk. Caters for both recreational and technical divers. Both Ian and Jim are great skippers and look after their ients. Very knowledgeable too. The B&B is in a great location conveniently located just next to the boat. Nice clean rooms with ensuite and great breakfast. Having a filling station for air, nitrox, oxygen and trimix makes diving logistics much simpler A great experience
I have dived with Marine Quest at least once per year for the past 4 years in the Marine Reserve. Both boats have a lift, Silver Sky has a handy cable with sliding handles for moving about in dive gear, Jacob George has a head accessible from the deck. The boats are a good size, easily taking a party of ten without being too crowded, more if you are tidy. Jim and Iain, the skippers, are very friendly and happy to chat about the area, diving, boats, etc, and will try to tailor the diving to a parties requests where conditions allow. Hot drinks and cake are provided once divers are back on board. The accommodation is clean, spacious, and very convenient for the dive boats. You can walk from the room, pick up your cylinder from the filling station and be on the boat in under 3 minutes. Breakfast at the B&B is as standard toast, cerial, eggs cooked to order, and sausage, bacon, potato, mushroom, tomato and beans which you serve yourself, plus good coffee, tea and orange juice. If you have other requirements, I am sure the MQ team will help wherever they can. Marine Quest are a small family business, in a small community, doing a great job. If you wanted to dive around Eyemouth or St Abbs, get in touch and see if they are doing something you fancy!
Just spent a long weekend with Marine Quest, perfect set up. The Accommodation and food was perfect and great diving. I would highly recommend amd cant wait to return.

Friendly atmosphere ,great home-made soups, good filling sandwiches/wraps, mouth watering tray-bakes, amazing home made scones and shortbread
The best dive company on the east coast of Scotland, good price, good knowledge of the best dive sites run by a helpful friendly family.
Fabulous diving. Great skipper. Would highly recommend.
